Greatest Snow on Earth & Greatest Show on Earth

Saturday was the first snow storm of the season.

we bundled Sophie up in a few blankets and went to the Circus.
we had a good time at the circus.

My First Cake as a Wannabe Pastry Chef

ok so it wasn't perfect. It is only my first cake. Next time it will be better. What I will do different next time: cool the cake in the fridge over night, make the frosted coating underneath a lot harder, roll the fondant out a little thicker and maybe not attempt to make it the greatest cake ever made. The reason I say this is, the cake is tilted a little because i wanted a double layer, the first layer of fondant tore all around the edges because the frosting underneath was too soft. the second layer of fondant wasn't big enough so it didn't cover the whole thing. thank heaven for the dots. it makes look somewhat presentable. all things put aside, Happy Birthday Mom!! I hope it doesn't taste disgusting. So if anyone needs a cake anytime. call me. I would love to get better!!

10 weeks

our cute girl!!!

she is getting so big I can hardly believe it. I love watching her change everyday.

I feel so blessed to have her in my life.
She is 10 lbs. 5 ounces
21 1/2 inches long
and wearing 3 month old clothes.
she is little and chubby, just the way we like em'

Broken Toenails

If you have ever broken a toenail off then you know the pain I am in right now. last night during the very rainy weather we had i slipped on the stairs outside and broke two of my toenails off. the big toe and the second toe. let me just say it HURTS!!! I decided not to put a picture because it is pretty gross. I will not be making a trip to the nail spa any time soon.

Two Months

ok I am a week late but Sophie is two months!! Hurray!!! She had her two months appointment last tuesday and got her shots. She was a very sad girl all morning. She slept most of the day. when she woke up later in the evening she was in good spirits!! She was a sick girl for most of the week. She finally started to feel better on saturday. we were so happy!!!
even with her shots she was still happy later that day.

8 weeks

she is getting so big!!! she loves to smile. we are so blessed to have such a happy baby!

At the Zoo

Corey, Sophie and I went to the Zoo on saturday. it was so much fun!!
