We just returned home from a very fun weekend in St. George. We decided to go on Tuesday, we packed up the kids and left Friday morning. We stayed at a little hotel with two pools and a playground. It was so warm when we got there, we threw on our swim suits and went to the pool. It was Dawsons first time in a pool. No surprise he loved it. My babies are fish. Sophie loved jumping off the side and floating in her tube. Dawson and I lasted only a half an hour or so, it was pretty windy. When Corey and Sophie were done we went to dinner at Chilis. Sophie found some little palm trees at the hotel. She thought were awesome. We had to take her picture by them. She did a little booty shake when we were done with the pictures. I asked her what she was doing. She told me it was what Baloo on the Jungle Book does. I laughed to myself as I played that scene from the movie in my head. Yep I told her. He sure does. He scratches his back on a palm tree! Saturday morning we decided to drive to Vegas for the day. We got there around 11 and went to the out door mall. We wandered around, ate a pretzel and Sophie saw Cinderella. She was at a face painting booth, in a little park in the middle of the mall. Sophie loved it! She got a pony tattoo instead of her face painted. I got really sick so we sat in the shade while the babes napped. After a little breather we went to the Aquarium in Mandalay Bay. It was fun and educational. We ate the buffet, I wish that I would have felt better. I love Vegas buffets, but they are not fun when you don't feel good. We had forgotten Dawson plug in the car so he screamed the entire dinner as well. It was a little crazy, oh well. We drove home and went right to sleep. Sunday we woke up late and took it easy all morning. We drove to the Temple after lunch and spent a few hours on the peaceful grounds and in the visitors center. It is a gorgeous temple. I have never been. After the temple we went to a fun center and miniature golfed. It was so fun/funny teaching Sophie how to do it. She got sick of it after a few holes and then had fun grabbing the balls each time we hit them. We took an awesome family picture in a photo booth. We ate dinner at panda express. After dinner the babes and I went back to the hotel and went to sleep, while Corey went to Mesquite to play some games. We left for home Monday morning. It was a great way to start our summer!

4 months...
Our chubby wumpster is getting so big. Some of his favorite things are: playing with his toys in a swing, laughing at Sophie, watching sports with his dad on TV, being a mommas boy and more than anything else he loves to lay on his back and play with his toes. He loves his nightly bath and is always ready for it at 8:30. He loves to eat & sleep. He was sleeping through the night but not so much lately. He is extremely ticklish and laughs constantly. He loves to jabber and only really cries when he's hungry. He loves Sophie and gets so excited whenever she gets near him. She tends to smother him with hugs and kisses but he loves it. He loves to chew on his hands. He slobbers so much that a change of clothes is necessary at least once a day. He just soaks the front of his shirt constantly, we love it. At his 4 month appointment he was 15 pounds 4 ounces and was 26 1/2 inches long. He is wearing 3 and 6 month sized clothes and is in a size 2 diaper. He laughed as the doctor was giving him his checkup. He is the happiest baby! He loves to be outside and go for walks. I love my mellow, chubby, happy little boy.

Dawson rolled from his back to his stomach tonight. He has been really close to doing it for weeks now, but tonight he finally made it. It made him a bit upset, his arm was stuck underneath his body. He just layed there and yelled for a while. Not crying but just yelling like "hey guys a little help here". I helped him back over and he was happy as could be again.

My kiddos...
Dawson~
He is getting so big. He is 16 weeks today. I have no idea where the days have gone. He is the happiest, smiliest most layed back baby I have ever seen. He loves to play with his toys. He loves to smile. He loves to have his back arched and his legs straight. He eats a ton still. I am still solely nursing. He laughs all of the time. He loves watching his sister. I can tell he just loves her. He has started sucking on mams! Yay! I am so glad. He loves to chew on his hands and his blanket. He slobbers like no one I have ever seen. He clothes are constantly soaking wet. He is rolling back and forth. He has never gone onto his stomach but he could if he wanted to. Last week he had some blood in his poopy diaper. I panicked and took him to the doctor. Everything was fine. He is healthy and happy. He weighed 14 pounds 11 ounces. He laughed and smiled as the doctor was checking him out. I love my pediatrician! He is so great! He is wearing 6 month clothes and a size two diaper. I have had several people over the past couple of days tell me that he is a big boy! He likes to be outside in his stroller. I love him so much! He is so handsome and smells so good. He is so sweet and I can't stop kissing his chubby cheeks!

The zoo...
Corey, the kids and I spent this beautiful day at the zoo. Sophie got to wear shorts for the first time this year. She wasn't so sure if she liked them. She is so very picky about her clothes. After we told her that we were all going to wear shorts she was ok with it. We bought a years pass, I am so excited. We will spent a lot of time at the zoo this summer I think. It was Dawson's first time to the zoo, he was such a good boy. He loved looking at the monkeys. We rode the Merry go round. Sophie had a permanent smile on her face. I love the smile she gets when she is so excited about something. It is so cute I could cry. We all shared a snow cone that was delicious! We saw the tigers, there are four of them now. Sophie was so excited. The first thing she said was, mom it's Shere khan. All of the kids around her where saying Oh ya! It is! Baby Zuri, the elephant was the highlight. She is so cute! I loved watching her play. She reminded me so much of a toddler. It was pretty hot by the time we got to the car. Then I remembered our air conditioner is broken, Dang! It was a sweaty ride home!
