Ball...

Ball is pretty much the only thing this boy says or thinks about. The word varies depending on which ball he is talking about, for example a basketball is baba ball. I think basketball is his favorite. He loves to play it, watch it and wear it. This is his baba ball shirt. He has other ball shirts, but this is by far his favorite. Today when I took it off for his bath he cried. So silly. He is 15 months. He weighed 23 pounds and was 30 inches long. Lately Sophie loves her birthday suit and underoos. The second we walk in the door, off go the clothes. She told me she wants to be like tarzan. We have been loving the warm weather. I have been outside doing a lot of yard work. I have several projects that I am working on, and am excited to get them done.

Birthday Fun...

This morning I made Cor breakfast. Waffles and Bacon. I think that is pretty much our go to breakfast for any type of celebration. The kids and I headed to the store to grab a few last minute gifts while Cor finished up some work. We made lunch and the went to Holladay Lions to swim. Both of the babes loved it. Dawson is a fish and wanted to swim by himself. The trouble is he can't seem to keep his head above the water. He was mad that we wouldn't let him go. Sophie can float on her back so well and loves to jump in from the side. We are really looking forward to the summer. We left the pool and froze. It was a really chilly day. We bathed and let Dawson take a nap. We opened presents and then went to dinner at Chilis. I made Cor his favorite cake when we got home. Soph was a huge help. We had fun Celebrating our favorite guy! Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday My love...

Just wanted to wish you a very Happy Birthday. I love you so much!

Easter Weekend...

We left on Thursday and got to Blanding around 7:00. We settled in and the kids played.
Friday~ We woke up and Sophie was surprised to see Maddie had arrived late Thursday night. They immediately were off playing. We ate breakfast, got dressed and went over to the baseball field. The boys through around some baseballs and the little kids, Grandma and I colored with chalk. We went back and ate lunch and then the Ivins family called and wanted the boys to help brand calves. The kids and I went along for the ride. It was interesting and entertaining. There were some little kids taking down cows that were the same size as they were. Corey and Jeff had more fun than they thought they were going to. When they got back they were sore, bruised, sunburned and really tired. We watched movies and rested. When everyone else arrived the kids colored Easter eggs. Sophie and Maddie had lots of fun, the proof was on their hands! They were dyed bright pink. We tried several different remedies but nothing worked. At least they thought it was pretty to have pink hands, well at least Soph did. Maddie wasn't very amused.
Saturday~ We ate breakfast and loaded the cars. We were bound for recapture pockets. We haven't been to the traditional picnic grounds for years. I was so glad it was sunny. When we got there we pulled out the kites and bubble machines. We ate lunch and watched the kids ride around on the 4 wheelers. The babies had so much fun playing in the sand. Dawson was covered from head to toe. The Lyman and Halliday kids had an Easter egg hunt. Both my babes loved it. It felt so good to bask in the sun and talk with Corey's family. The babes fell asleep on the way back and slept for a few hours. When they woke up I gave them a much needed bath, then Grandma and Grandpa had another small Easter egg hunt in their yard. The big boys spent a few hours playing baseball with their cousins. We ate dinner, and I made Ice cream sundaes for everyone to celebrate Cor's upcoming birthday. We watched a movie and then went to bed. Everyone was really tired from the days events.
Sunday~ The babes woke up really early. I had their Easter baskets put together in our room. They were excited and when they were done looking at what they got, they ran down to show Grandma. We ate biscuits and gravy for breakfast and sat and visited while some of the group went to church. We were going to leave right after breakfast to make it home in time for the Sharp Easter party, but Tori is still sick so we decided to reschedule. We made ham and potatoes for lunch, then everyone packed up and left. The weather was crazy, it was hailing and snowing. The roads were icy and we slid several times. Thankfully when we got to Moab things were calmer. We made it home safely and were happy to have had such a fun weekend.

Easter Clothes...

Since we are always driving home from Blanding on Easter Sunday, I thought today was a good day to let the babes wear their Easter clothes. They both looked so cute. It is near impossible to a get a picture of the two of them where they are both looking. Love this one...
