Sophie finished her Potty Chart and as a reward she got to have a Tea Party. She really loves Tea Parties right now! We invited Gram and Papa over, and had dinner and cupcakes. She had so much fun! Gram brought some balloons, Sophie thought it was so great. She put her hands on her cheeks and said, "Oh my goodness, this is so wonderful"! She felt like it was her birthday. She had to wear a dress and have her hair in piggy tails. I made her a special princess hat that she got to wear. I am so proud of her for being such a big girl.

2 months old...
The past two months have been a joy with this sweet boy in our house. He had his two month well child today. He weighs 11 pounds 13 ounces and is 23 1/2 inches long. He is wearing 3 month clothes and fits into his little robeez. The doctor was so impressed by how big he is. He loves to eat! He smiles and coos. He loves to have us talk to him. He loves his sister and gets so happy when she is around. He loves to be held and snuggled. He is the sweetest boy. I love kissing his chubby cheeks. I love this little guy so much!

our fort...
Sophie really likes to build forts. We built one today in the corner between the couches. It was cozy and fun! We read books and played princesses. Dawson even joined us.

The Park...
We spent this beautiful day at the park with Melissa and Canyon. We packed a picnic and basked in the warm spring sun. Dawson slept in the stroller the whole time, while Sophie ran around with a bag of her favorite chips, doritos. She finally got some courage and went down the little slide. She loved it and then didn't want to leave. She wanted to spend the rest of the day at the park. We are so excited for the warmer weather. We are going to spend a lot of time at the park. Dawson isn't really sure what to think about being outside. I hope he will like it though. Sophie has always loved to be outside so we are hoping he will too. I am so excited for warmer days ahead!

8 weeks...
I can't get enough of this little chubby guy. He is so snuggly and I love it! He loves to be held and have my face next to his, or his hands held. His cheeks are irresistible and he always smells SO good. He has really started to smile and has even given a little giggle. He loves his plug and has it in his mouth most of the day. He snorts when he cries, it reminds me of a little piggy. His neck is so strong, he can hold his head up on his own. He doesn't really like to be on his tummy unless his plug is in his mouth. He flipped over one day from his belly to his back. I love his personality. His is the sweetest little boy in the world. We love having a boy in our house. Corey has already started watching Braves Baseball with him and can't wait until he can play catch with him. He is a good eater, we are excited to see how much he weighs at his 2 month appointment next week. I love watching him grow, it happens way too fast I must say. I am really enjoying this stage of my life, it is crazy and stressful and fun and rewarding. I am so grateful for my two beautiful babies.

Happy Green Day...
Happy Green Day! Every year at grammy and papas the Leprechauns leave green things in our shoes while we sleep. Sophie woke up and told Corey that she heard someone talking. He asked her who and she said, "I think it was the restapeas leaving green things in my shoes at papas". He had no idea what she was talking about. I came downstairs and Corey told me what she had said. We laughed when I told him that she meant Leprechauns. She couldn't remember what they were called so she called them restapeas. She is the biggest nut. I have no idea where she comes up with the things she says. I love St. Patrick's day! It means spring is so close, and I absolutely LOVE spring.
