6 facts About Me.

I have this weird obsession with severe weather. I love it!

I don't like that it causes catastrophes.

but I think that it is so amazing. I have always wanted to be a meteorologist.

I HATE scary movies. I am the biggest wuss.

I get scared in movies that I shouldn't even be afraid of.
I am a spur of the moment thrill seeker. I love the adrenaline rush of doing something crazy. I don't think anyone would ever guess that about me. sometimes I even surprise my family with the things that I do.
I love food!!! it doesn't matter if I am cooking it or eating it. I also love to bake!!!
I will pretty much eat anything but peas. I hate peas and have my whole life!!I am a movie junkie. I love to watch movies. my favorite type of movies to watch are fantasy such as Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia and Star Wars. I think I like fantasy movies so much because I feel like I am in another world when I watch them. I am a total geek!!
I love Summer!!
It is my favorite time of year.
I don't think that there is one thing that I dislike about summer.

Who eats more? He would say that he does. but I think we eat about the same.

Who said I love you first? He did though I don't remember the date. he remembers it though. he has a really good memory.

Who is taller? Corey is. I am 5 2 a lot of people are taller than me!!

Who sings better? probably me, he does how ever have a pretty good voice. I know he wont agree with me though.

Who is smarter? well lets just say I have had my share of "Blond Moments" they are pretty much an everyday occurrence. I guess we both have our strengths though.

Who does the Laundry? I do. try getting gum out of fabric. not an easy thing!!

Who sleeps on the right? Cor

Who mows the Lawn? Enrique and his lawn mowing company!

Who cooks dinner? I do though Corey usually ends up helping

Who drives? Corey, he likes to be in control of his life when he is behind the wheel

Who is more stubborn? I don't know that's a tough one. we are both pretty dang stubborn. he would say I am though I know for sure.

Who kissed who first? He kissed me.

Who asked who out first? Cor did before he even asked me my name.

Who has more siblings? Corey has five brothers

Who wears the pants? I think that we pretty equally share the load. I don't know if he would agree with me or not though.

A "Bitter-Sweet" Fairwell

June 23, 1910 - January 27, 2008

I have reflected deeply today on the passing of an incredible man who touched the lives of everyone he met, and those whom he did not meet.

as I received the news last night. the first thing that came to my mind was that he was with his sweet heart now, and that he is overjoyed to see her.

I can only begin to imagine what a joyous reunion it was.

My sweet Grandma is very sad by this news because they were good friends. she said she will deeply miss his wonderful compassion and his witty sense of humor. as will I.

I have also reflected today on the things I have learned from his life, the list is endless. The one thing that has touched my life the most is the relationship he had with his sweet wife. as we watched the 10:00 news last night they were paying tribute to his life by showing some pictures and video clips. I felt overwhelmed by the love that President and Sister Hinckley had for each other. someone commented that he never really got over her death because he missed having her by his side. I am so grateful for the example they set on what a loving, eternal marriage should be. I pray that I will be able to follow his example.

"We thank Thee oh God for our prophet".

I will deeply miss hearing his inspired words.

A Utah Fan am I !!!!!

Yesterday my cute cousin Melissa and I

had the privilege of singing the National anthem at the

University of Utah basketball game.

we sang last year and they invited us back again this year.

hopefully it will continue to be a yearly experience.

It is a lot of fun to be down on the court and look up into the stands.

We tried out for the Utah Jazz but unfortunately did not make it.

Maybe next year!!

A small resolution

I have been wanting to work out and get back in shape for a long time. well actually I don't know if " Back In Shape" is the correct thing to say because I am not so sure I was ever in shape to begin with, but that is beside the point. I am not that good at the goal setting, new years resolution thing. I have always wanted to be but for some reason just never do well with it. this year I thought I would just pick a few things to be better at like reading my scriptures, saying family and personal prayer, finding time to go to the temple, eating healthier and working out. I have been wanting to get an exercise ball for a while now but when I went to the sporting goods store didn't realize it would put me out $ 40.00!!!! but little did I know I was in luck I walked into Walmart the other day and right there in the entrance

yes 10.00 I was so excited and it came with a little pump!!!

I simply could not pass up this opportunity!!

I very happily picked one off the pile and set it in my cart.

I LOVE bargains!!!

I got it home, opened it up and pulled it out. the ball looked nice. the pump on the other hand probably cost .50 cents to make I thought I might break it.

I took out the plug and started pumping and I kept pumping........ and pumping......and pumping

I think it took me close to an hour to pump the thing up.

(who new that that was where the real workout was!!!)

It also can with a fold out poster of a whole bunch of excercises you can do on your ball.

I have faithfully been using this ball for three days and let me tell you it is kicking my hyney!!!

In the middle of the workout I am thinking to myself that it is not working because I don't feel a thing,and that it is the easiest workout I have ever done.

It has definitely proven me wrong!!

the minute I am finished I am feeling every second of it!!!

So I think I am on my way to my goal:

Ya Right!!! I wish!!!

Hopefully someday I will look like that, until then I would just be happy to lose the last few inches of "Baby Fat" around the middle,

and fit in the new swimming suit I just got for Hawaii.

Half A Year!!!

Where have the past 6 months of my life gone? I cant believe how fast it has gone. It is such a bitter sweet feeling. I am loving every minute of her changing and growing every day but I am so sad at the same time. Life has been so awesome these past months and I am so excited to see what the rest of her life has in store for her. I love this little girl so much!I can hardly believe that you can love something so much!! She is so funny and loves that she is getting big. I know she cant wait until she can run around with all the kids!! she loves to sit and play with her toys, read pop up books, eat pears and applesauce, watch Mickey mouse club house, laugh and talk to us, give us hugs and slobbery kisses and pull my hair!! you are the best!!!! I love you so much!!!

Happy Birthday to ME!!!!

I must admit that I LOVE my birthdays!!! everyone always seems to go out of their way to make my day special. I feel very spoiled!! I thought this year I would have a hard time with all that happened last year but to my surprise It wasn't hard at all and turned out to be an awesome day!I am so grateful for my wonderful life so far! I love to be alive!! I cant believe how much I am blessed with. I don't know what I did to deserve such an amazing life. Thank you to all of you who made my birthday so wonderful!!!!

So Big.

Sophie thinks she is a big girl and wants to be involved in everything I am doing. she is a very good helper!! So last night I was trying to make dinner and she was on the floor playing and she was so fussy. I picked her up put her in her new seat and pulled the chair into the kitchen right next to me while I made dinner and she was so happy the whole time. she is so funny. she played with her toys, and kicked off her sock so she could play with her toes. One problem with her new chair is that every time we put her in it she thinks its time to eat. it so funny!!! so here is my princess helping me make dinner.

Thank you to the makers of Fisher Price! this high chair is a life saver and a space saver. I love it. I dont know why anyone would buy a full sized high chair, when this is the same thing in half the space!! Its awesome!!!

Happy 2008!!!!

We had such a fun New Years eve. We went to my parents next door neighbors and had fisherman's stew. It was really yummy. my poor dad was sick so my mom stayed home with him and Cor & I took Tom and Tori to Lehi with us. We had so much fun!!! we played the Newlywed game and pictionary. we laughed really hard and we are still laughing. To spare Uncle Jeffs feelings I will not mention why we are still laughing :) all of the kids had fun too. Corey and all the kids somehow stayed awake (except maddie). sophie had a little nap and then woke up to ring in her very first New Year.

I am so excited for another wonderful year together. things I am looking forward to are: going to Hawaii, boating all summer, going to lake powell, sophies birthday, watching her grow everyday, learning about Joseph Smith in relief society, Harry Potter and the Half blood prince in theaters this november. (pathetic, I know), teaching sophie new things, baseball season, valentines day, st patricks day, easter, the 4th of july, halloween, thanksgiving, christmas & birthdays!!! I love holidays! and I am excited for every single one!!
