16 months...

Here are 16 fun facts about my favorite 16 month old...
He loves his blanket.
He loves to watch Mickey Mouse clubhouse.
He loves to go up and down the stairs. I just recently took the gates down.
He weighs 8 pounds less than Soph.
He wears a size 5 shoe, 2T clothes and a size 4 diaper.
He loves fruit snacks
He loves suckers
He loves Sophie
He loves to Dance. He has a few moves but my favorite is his shimmy.
He loves to do anything Soph does.
He stlill drinks a milk bottle before bed.
He takes one 2 1/2 hour nap
He loves water, I am so looking forward to taking him swimming.
He loves to wear any type of clothing with a ball on it.
He loves any sport, watching or playing it.
He only says two words, yes 2. Mamma and Basketball. Everyone is Mama, and everything else is a basketball. Basketball is all he thinks about all day long. He even dreams about it. Corey is so proud! Love you sweet buddy.

The Zoo...

We have been making weekly trips to the zoo. I love having a pass. Tom and Tori went with us today. We always pack a picnic lunch. Today we sat at our table for a while soaking up some sunshine. We saw the animals, the dinosaurs, rode on the merry go round and watched the bird show. Dawson loves the dinosaur's but his favorite thing by far is the Merry go round. Soph just loves everything about the Zoo. I love spending time there as well.

Sophie loves to dress herself. This is what she usually looks like. Dawson also like to choose his clothes. The only shirts he ever picks have a ball on it. They couldn't be more different.

Today...

I am so grateful to be a mother. I love these two so much. There is nothing more rewarding in the entire world. I am also so grateful to be a wife. I feel so blessed. Thank you Mom for teaching me how to be a Mother. I love you.

This is my first project of the summer. I am using it as a computer chair. Cor got a new computer this past week so I got his old one!! I am so excited.

Belated Easter Party & Birthdays for the boys...

Due to last weeks illness our Easter celebration was moved to today. We went to sacrament meeting and then went over to my parents. We started out by eating the most delicious lunch. Spoon roast, twice baked potatoes, fresh vegi's, deviled eggs and homemade bruschetta. While Papa was hiding the Easter eggs, we went out front. We were going to play a game, instead Sam and Jeremy entertained us with flips on the lawn. We all participate in the hunt. They always hide 3 special eggs. The biggest prize is $5. The hunt was on. Sophie ran around as fast as she could gathering lots of eggs. I helped Dawson, after about 3 he was done and sat down on the grass. He opened them with his teeth and ate all of the candy. Corey, Jessica and Sam found the special eggs. I think Cor got $3. When all of the eggs were found it was time for the Egg roll....

The Game: You pick your opponent, Winner moves on. Roll your egg at your opponents. You are in the game as long as your egg doesn't crack wide open.

First up Corey and Tom. Cor's egg exploded upon the first hit. Dawson thought it was a ball and threw his on the ground, it splatted. Tori, Sam, Jessica, Sophie and I all got eliminated. Next up Jeremy followed by Papa. Tom was about to face Grandma when his egg slipped out of his hand and crashed on the ground. Egg went every where. Gram and Grandma Webb were in the final. 5 minutes later we had a new champion. Gram!!

When all of the Easter festivities were over, we sang to the boys and they opened a few presents. Cor got a book, a gift card to the book store and a 32 pack of Pepsi. The babes got an Easter basket and Cor and I got an insane amount of candy.
