Draper Temple...

I wanted to document what an amazing experience it was to see the Draper Temple dedication.
I saw the Bountiful and Nauvoo when I was little, but didn't remember much. I felt the spirit so strong the whole time and had tears in my eyes. I am so grateful Temples. I love looking around the valley and seeing one in every direction you look. I feel very blessed to live so close to so many beautiful temples.

Twenty Months...

Sophie is so fun right now. She loves life and everything about it. She is talking so much, I can't believe some of the things she says. She also has a really good memory. She remembers things all the time and then will tell me all about it. Here are some examples: One day we sat down to eat lunch, as we started eating she looked at us and said "Pray". Corey and I were both astonished that our tiny girl remembered that we needed to Thank our Heavenly Father for our lunch. On Sunday as we were driving home from church, I asked her if she had a good time in nursery. She nodded her head yes, and then began to tell me that they played with the babies and then cleaned them up and that she got stars on her head. I asked Corey if that really happened. He said yes, and couldn't believe that she had remembered. and last of all, Corey had a bowl of cereal the other day. As He was just about to pour the milk, he dropped the bowl and cereal went every where. Sophie thought it was so funny. Now, anytime we eat cereal she laughs and says Daddy spilled cereal on the floor. She is so smart. She loves any kind of Princess right now. I bought her some clear jelly shoes at Old Navy, She wears them from the minute she wakes up until we put her in the bath at night. She says they are her Cinderella or in her words
"rellie shoies". Thanks to her cousin Hannah she loves to tickle everyone under the chin and say "cutie". She loves to be outside. Her favorite thing to do is swing. She also loves to blow bubbles. She is starting to get really good at naming her colors. She loves to read books. She loves to play with her babies, I love how tender and nurturing she is to them. She loves to be home, sometimes when we go places she will look at me and say "go home". She is always so proud of herself when she learns something new. She always strokes my hair or my cheek and says "beubeu" which means beautiful. She is so cute and so girly. I love spending all my time with her. We have so much fun. She is my sunshine! I can't believe she is almost two. This is her Green Day shirt. She was so excited to wear it.

Irish Toasts...

There are good ships, and there are wood ships, The ships that sail the sea. But the best ships, are friendships, And may they always be.

Here's to the land of the shamrock so green, Here's to each lad and his darlin colleen,
Here's to the ones we love dearest and most. May God bless old Ireland, that's this Irishman's toast!

I have known many, and liked not a few, but loved only one and this toast is to you.

May your heart be light and happy, May your smile be big and wide, And may your pockets always have a coin or two inside!

May you have food and raiment, a soft pillow for your head. May you be forty years in heaven before the devil knows you’re dead.

May your mornings bring joy and your evenings bring peace...
May your troubles grow less as your blessings increase

May you have all the happiness and luck that life can hold—
And at the end of all your rainbows may you find a pot of gold.

& Corey's Personal Favorite...
May those that love us, love us. And those that don’t love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And if he doesn’t turn their hearts, May he turn their ankles,
So we’ll know them by their limping

~Hope you have a very Lucky Day~

St. Patricks Dinner...

Due to busy schedules we decided to have our traditional St. Patricks Dinner today. We had Corned beef and cabbage, soda bread, salad and potatoes. We toasted to Irish toast with root beer and had green strawberry shortcake for dessert. Corey found the pot of gold and got to sit at the special place setting. Sophie thought it was pretty fancy so Corey let her wear the hat and the necklace. as always it was a lot of fun! Thank you Mom for a fun time!
