10 weeks...

Our little buddy is getting so big. He loves to smile and coo right now. It is so cute! Sophie loves him and always says "Oh broder, look how chubby you are". He is still so mellow unless he is hungry or has a tummy ache. He blows bubbles and drools all day. He usually has wet clothes from it. His eyes are starting to get darker. He still has all of his hair too! We love him so much!

Easter...

We had a really fun Easter at home this year. We woke up and Sophie looked for her Easter basket. She got some fun things. She was screaming Oh Oooo Oh the whole time she was pulling things out of her basket. I love giving presents to her. She makes the effort and thought totally worth it! We made homemade waffles and bacon for breakfast, and were uplifted by the Sunday morning session of conference. We headed over to my parents for our Easter dinner and egg hunt in the afternoon. Sophie once again had a blast hunting for Easter eggs. We had yummy food and played some silly Easter games. That night we went to Grandma Sharps for another Easter egg hunt. It had rained so they decided to do it inside. It was fun to see everyone. My Grandma has been in an assisted living home for the past few months due to her health. She was able to come home for the day. Hopefully she will be out soon. On our way home from Grandma Sharps, Sophie kept asking if we were going to have more Easter egg hunts tomorrow. I loved having Easter over conference. It helped me better focus my thoughts on what this special holiday is really about. I vote we have it like this every year. As for the snow that was on the ground, that part can be skipped next year!

Easter egg hunts and a baptism...

We didn't go to Blanding this Easter so Sophie got to participate in the Evergreen egg hunt. It was fun for me to take her to it. It is something I did every year when I was little. It was so cold and there was snow on the ground. We bundled up and had a great time. She got a ton of candy. We got home and headed to Salina for Mckay's Baptism. It was fun to watch! He was so excited to be baptised. It was so cold that our plans for a picnic at the park changed to the ward gym. We had yummy food and the kids had a blast running around. We hid 200 Easter eggs outside. Sophie loves looking for them. She got even more candy, but would have been happy even if the eggs were empty. We got home around 6:30. We went and ate homemade pizza and my parents. It was fun to see everyone. Sophie loves spending time with her cousins!

Sophie's tea party...

Sophie finished her Potty Chart and as a reward she got to have a Tea Party. She really loves Tea Parties right now! We invited Gram and Papa over, and had dinner and cupcakes. She had so much fun! Gram brought some balloons, Sophie thought it was so great. She put her hands on her cheeks and said, "Oh my goodness, this is so wonderful"! She felt like it was her birthday. She had to wear a dress and have her hair in piggy tails. I made her a special princess hat that she got to wear. I am so proud of her for being such a big girl.

2 months old...

The past two months have been a joy with this sweet boy in our house. He had his two month well child today. He weighs 11 pounds 13 ounces and is 23 1/2 inches long. He is wearing 3 month clothes and fits into his little robeez. The doctor was so impressed by how big he is. He loves to eat! He smiles and coos. He loves to have us talk to him. He loves his sister and gets so happy when she is around. He loves to be held and snuggled. He is the sweetest boy. I love kissing his chubby cheeks. I love this little guy so much!

our fort...

Sophie really likes to build forts. We built one today in the corner between the couches. It was cozy and fun! We read books and played princesses. Dawson even joined us.
