Cousin party...

Grandma Sharp invited all of the little cousins over to her house tonight for a sleepover party. Sophie was so excited. She immediately went to the play room when we got there in search of a baby. We didn't find a baby but we found a princess dress instead. While we waiting for the pizza to arrive we played outside on the swing and the trampoline. We had pizza, bread sticks and soda. For dessert we ate chocolate chip cookies and snow cones. While the kids played outside after dinner, my aunts and I talked on the patio. I admire both of them, it was nice to talk to them. Along with dinner, there was a pinata and bingo. There were lots of little prizes, Sophie had so much fun. We didn't sleep over but we still had a really fun time.

H is for...

Hat night at Hires Big H. We had a fun and rather embarrassing evening. Putting the names of 10 hats into a bowl is how we began. We laughed as we each pulled a paper out. Before we even began I held up the tiara and said to Corey, "Hopefully you don't end up with this one"! When his turn came, he opened his paper and sure enough it read Tiara. I didn't think a baseball hat was that strange or ugly. That was before I put in on. Next we had a photo shoot on the porch. We got to hires and a few of us were hesitant to get out of the car. We walked in and had quite a few stares and even some laughs. The waitress was great. She asked if we were celebrating a birthday, so we said yes. One more party for Sophie wasn't going to hurt anything! She had a blast and thought we were all playing dress up with her. We ate yummy hamburgers and fries. Some of us chose frosty mugs and others had vanilla diet coke. When we were done the waitress brought Sophie an Ice cream sundae. I am sure people left wondering why we were so weird. It really was fun though. We laughed really hard, took some awesome pictures and everyone was a good sport and wore their hat the whole time.

Birthday party at Grams and Papas...

I love this girl! We celebrated her Happy Birthday again today at Gram and Papa's. She picked her Sunday dinner, mashed potatoes and cake. That is all she wanted! She got some more presents. She was so excited and couldn't wait to open them. She got some dress ups and few toys. She was so excited. She made her excited, happy face. It is my favorite and makes me cry because it is so cute. We sang happy birthday to her and she blew out candles. She is so cute! I love her so much and am so grateful for her in my life. Happy Birthday baby.

Sophie's 3rd Birthday...

Sophie's Birthday was so much fun. She has been looking forward to it for months now. We made a countdown and taped it on the fridge. Everyday she would put a princess sticker on and say "It's almost my birthday". The day arrived, she woke up with a big smile! When she saw her decorations she threw her arms in the air and yelled YAY!! She had to open a few presents before breakfast. She put her new dress and shoes on the second she opened them. Her party was at 11:30. All of the people she says are her friends came. The decorations looked exactly how I wanted them to. We ate hot dogs, chips, grapes and pink juice just as she had asked. Everyone wore their best clothes. It was so hot but she didn't care at all! We played a few games and then it was time for the presents. She was so excited! She got some really great stuff! Her favorite was her bike! She has been wanting a princess bike forever! It was a really fun party. When everyone left we put her in the bath. She was so sweaty! We went out and rode her bike for awhile. We came in and had a little rest and opened a few more presents. We went to dinner at Apple bees. All she wanted was a hamburger and some french fries. They sang to her and she got an ice cream. We came home and played with her toys, then we watched a movie and went to bed. It was such a special day!
