Vegas Baby...

We just spent a fun filled weekend in Vegas with two of our favorite people. With Papa and Gram watching the babes, we left Saturday around noon and got to our hotel around 6. We checked in, and while the boys got in a round of craps, Autumn and I checked out the pool. It was so cold outside, not as bad the weather we left. But not warm enough for the pool. I hope it gets warmer. We went to find the boys so we could go to dinner. I was standing at the craps table and the dealer asked my age. I told him, and another guy asked to see my drivers license. They didn't believe me and were checking my ID really close. It was funny. We drove up the strip and went to the MGM grand to eat at the rain forest cafe. The food was so yummy. We walked around and then went back to the hotel. The boys stayed in the casino and played while Autumn and I went to bed. We woke up early Sunday morning and went to Treasure Island. Autumn and I had an appointment at the Spa. We spent an hour getting our legs and feet massaged. It was lovely. After lunch we went and got discount tickets for our show and buffet. We drove back to the hotel and dropped of the boys, then we went shopping. We went to target to get prizes for our babes and then went to the mall. We got some cute things at H&M and over heard a rumor that we may be getting one here soon! Yay! We went back to the hotel and took a nap and then got ready for dinner. We ate at the Treasure Island buffet and then went and saw Mysteir. It was so good. I love Cirque du Soleil. Monday we woke up to sunny skies so we hurried off to the pool. We were worried it was going to be cold but were pleased when our sweaters were not needed. The sun felt AMAZING! We spent the whole morning reading by the pool. We met our hubbys for lunch and then went back to the pool for the rest of the afternoon. We both got burned but it was totally worth it. We got ready and then went and saw source code. After the movie we went to dinner at Claim Jumper. It was yummy, but the portions were giant and could literally feed a giant. We woke up early Tuesday and drove home. It was so fun to see my babes. I missed them so much. The weekend was a blast. I think we laughed the whole time, got honked at by far too many taxi and the boys left with huge smiles on their faces and a little more change in their pockets! Thanks B&A we had a blast and can't wait until next time!

My Cuties...

I love these two so much. They are both so sweet. Soph and I went to this awesome consignment sale this morning. We had so much fun. We got some great stuff. She picked out a tiana dress and we got daws a basketball hoop, I also got them both an entire summer wardrobe. I only spent $82. I love that place. I just saved so much money!

Conference...

We looked out the window and what did we see... SNOW. Are you serious? People were in shorts 2 days ago. Oh well, there is not much to do about it. We started our Conference weekend on Friday with a trip to the temple. I love going to the temple. Saturday we watched conference and I got some much needed house work done. Saturday night the boys went to priesthood and the girls+ Dawsie went to Tai Pan for girls night out. We got some cute things and then ate dinner at Chick-Fil-A. Sunday we went to my parents for waffles and biscuits and gravy, a conference tradition. We listened to conference then came home for a nap. We went back to their house for dinner. I love conference time. It is so uplifting and a good reminder of just how amazing our church and the gospel really are.

The Zoo...

Another gorgeous spring day simply could not be wasted, so we joined Melissa and the rest of the play group gang at the Zoo. It was so beautiful outside. We started out with sweatshirts and quickly decided they were not necessary. The animals were fun to watch, and no zoo trip would be complete without a ride on the Merry go round. The babes loved it.

The Park...

Yay for spring! We walked to the park today and met Lisa and Owen and Heidi and Jack for a picnic. The babes had a blast. Dawson thought swinging was so much fun. He also had to climb up to the slide all by himself. We came home and Soph and I worked out in the yard while Dawson had a nap.

Discovery Gateway...

We had so much fun at the Museum last week we decided to go again. This time we met Melissa and her boys there. We played upstairs today and built some cool contraptions. We also played with the balls again. Dawson could spend hours playing with the balls. It was a great way to spend a rainy day.

CBOE...

Corey just returned home from his CBOE trip. He said it was amazing. It was a great experience for the students as well as for Cor. He was praised for his knowledge and everyone was eager to talk to him. Great things were said about the company as well. As part of the experience they were allowed access to the pit. They had a mock trading session and got to see how it all works. I am so proud of him and am very happy he had a great time. We missed him like mad and are so happy that he is home!
