a visit from St. Nick...

Our Elder's Quorum hired Santa to come around and visit all of the kids in the ward. He made a stop at our house. Sophie was so excited the whole day that he was coming. She waited by the window for them to arrive. When they finally got here and we opened the door, she changed her mind in a hurry. She started to cry, which is so out of character for her. He sat on our couch while we tried to calm her down. She wanted nothing to do with him. We laughed, he gave her a candy cane, and we snapped a few pictures. She told him what she wanted through sobs, on the other side of the room. He left and she was fine. She is a nut. She loves the idea of Santa, but when he comes to her house it is a little too scary. She also had no nap today and was extremely tired. Now when we tell her Santa is going to bring presents to her house, she cries and says she doesn't like Santa.
