My kiddos...

Dawson~
He is getting so big. He is 16 weeks today. I have no idea where the days have gone. He is the happiest, smiliest most layed back baby I have ever seen. He loves to play with his toys. He loves to smile. He loves to have his back arched and his legs straight. He eats a ton still. I am still solely nursing. He laughs all of the time. He loves watching his sister. I can tell he just loves her. He has started sucking on mams! Yay! I am so glad. He loves to chew on his hands and his blanket. He slobbers like no one I have ever seen. He clothes are constantly soaking wet. He is rolling back and forth. He has never gone onto his stomach but he could if he wanted to. Last week he had some blood in his poopy diaper. I panicked and took him to the doctor. Everything was fine. He is healthy and happy. He weighed 14 pounds 11 ounces. He laughed and smiled as the doctor was checking him out. I love my pediatrician! He is so great! He is wearing 6 month clothes and a size two diaper. I have had several people over the past couple of days tell me that he is a big boy! He likes to be outside in his stroller. I love him so much! He is so handsome and smells so good. He is so sweet and I can't stop kissing his chubby cheeks!

Sophie~

She is a nut! She is still so silly and is always coming us with some doozies! Here are some of her latest.

She loves to ride in the truck with Daddy. They listen to some awesome 80s tunes. Here favorite is "beat it" by Michael Jackson. They jam out when ever it is on. The other day we were in Down east. It came on over the radio. She stopped and said Mommy, It Jackal Jackson! It's my favorite song. She then proceeded to rock out! It was awesome!

She loves Doritos. She calls them Dory Toes. It is so funny.

She loves the movie jungle book. The little girls name is Shanti. She was having poo issues again. I told her that if she went Shanti would be so happy. She told me that she wouldn't be able to talk to her because she was in the jungle. I told her that Shanti would call her if she went. She ran right in and went. I called Jessica and asked her to pretend to be Shanti. She called Sophie, I thought Sophie was going to pass out from excitement.

Every morning after we eat breakfast, if the weather is nice. Sophie will open the door, run outside, twirl around on the patio and say, "It's a wonderful day"! She is such a little princess

Today she ran up to Dawson, gave him a big hug and said, I just love him he is so cute. Thank you for buying him!

She tells me every Sunday after I get dressed that I looked amazing like a princess.

She is the best! She has us on our toes and smiling all day!

The zoo...

Corey, the kids and I spent this beautiful day at the zoo. Sophie got to wear shorts for the first time this year. She wasn't so sure if she liked them. She is so very picky about her clothes. After we told her that we were all going to wear shorts she was ok with it. We bought a years pass, I am so excited. We will spent a lot of time at the zoo this summer I think. It was Dawson's first time to the zoo, he was such a good boy. He loved looking at the monkeys. We rode the Merry go round. Sophie had a permanent smile on her face. I love the smile she gets when she is so excited about something. It is so cute I could cry. We all shared a snow cone that was delicious! We saw the tigers, there are four of them now. Sophie was so excited. The first thing she said was, mom it's Shere khan. All of the kids around her where saying Oh ya! It is! Baby Zuri, the elephant was the highlight. She is so cute! I loved watching her play. She reminded me so much of a toddler. It was pretty hot by the time we got to the car. Then I remembered our air conditioner is broken, Dang! It was a sweaty ride home!

Wheeler Farm...

Playgroup this week was at wheeler farm. With cloudy skies we headed out. The sun started shining when we got there and stayed out the whole time. We saw some stinky cows that were up to their shins in poo. Sophie loved the bunnies. We saw horses, goats and a big fat pink pig. Sophie loved the chickens and stood at the coop for a while watching them. After the chickens we made our way over to the duck pond. There were no ducks, just a lot of geese. We brought a few slices of bread, Sophie had fun throwing it in the water and watching the geese go crazy over it. We also saw a big rat that would crawl out a hole, in hopes of getting a piece of bread itself. Dawson is the best boy ever and happily stayed in the stroller. He fell asleep for awhile. Sophie did not want to leave when it was time to go. We had a lot of fun. I didn't know wheeler farm was like that. We have never really been before. It started to rain as we were leaving. I am so happy it is warm again.

Mother's Day...

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. Corey made me breakfast. We went to church and had dinner at my parents. I got a wallet, some shoes and some plants. I love the women in my life and am grateful there is a day to celebrate them. I love being a mom. It is the hardest most rewarding thing I have ever done. I can't believe how much love one person can have for another. I am grateful for the sacred responsibility I have. I love my babies and my hubby so much!

Little robin red breast...

This mommy Robin built her nest in a tree right next to my parents patio. One day it wasn't there and the next it was!It is only about 6 feet from the ground. It is amazing! I have never seen a nest this close before. When she flew away to get some food we carefully held a mirror up to take a peek at the eggs. They are the most incredible color of blue! I am so excited for them to hatch. I has been fun keeping an eye on them.

A is for aquarium...

Sophie has started learning her alphabet. We have been working on the letter A for a few weeks. As a prize for doing so well we went to the aquarium. Melissa and Canyon came with us. I was really impressed with the place. It was a lot better than I was expecting. Sophie loved it and wanted to stay all day. She loved Nemo and the Penguins. She stood and looked at the cockroaches for 5 minutes. I don't know why she liked them so much. I think they are disgusting. Dawson loved the fish. He was mesmerized by them. Every time I took a picture of him the flash would make his eyes huge! It was so funny. I think we will be making another visit soon!

Dawsons first trip to Blanding...

We took a trip to Blanding for the weekend. We left to a few inches of snow. Sophie fell asleep in Provo. Both she and Dawson travel so well. I feel lucky! We had a fun relaxing weekend. We spent some time with Grandpa Fred. He us not doing very good, we feel blessed we were able to see him. We were able to take a four generation picture. Sophie got to ride a donkey. She was a little bit scared at first but I think she had fun after a minute. I was cold the whole time we were down there so we didn't ride four wheelers. We did eat at the new Chinese restaurant and we looked around at the pharmacy and Alco. We had lots of fun!
