Funny Faces

Sophie just started making this face about a week ago.
it is so funny. she breaths in and out of her nose really loud when she does it.
it always makes us laugh really hard and she knows that she is so funny.
I used to make the same face when I was little which makes it even more funny.

Easter

Happy Easter!!
our Easters are crazy but very fun!!
every year we go to blanding for the annual family Easter picnic at recapture pockets. its so much fun!! we hunt for eggs, eat food, fly kites, ride four wheelers, and get lizards up our pant legs! no one got lost or hurt this year! we have fun down there. it nice to just hang out with everyone and watch movies! then on Sunday we wake up early and drive home so we can have our pass over Easter dinner and easter egg hunt with my family.
my mom and dad hide Easter basket and eggs. we don't really care about the eggs with candy but they hide 3 metallic eggs with money in them and it is not just change.
we like to look for them. my dad is creative and hides them really well.
then at 6:00 we go to my Grandma Sharps for another Easter egg hunt.
by the end of the day we are pretty tired but its a lot of fun!

St. Patricks Day and 8 months old!!

Sophie turned 8 months old on St. Patricks Day.
she is at the best age right now. she is rolling everywhere & army crawling, she love to laugh at herself, she is saying mama even though I am not sure she really knows what she is saying. she loves to eat. she gives us slobbery kisses, flaps her arms like a bird and still loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. she is in a size 2 1/2 diaper and 6 month clothes.
every St. Patricks Day my mom makes a traditional Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage, soda bread, and red potatoes. it is really yummy. we have root beer in mugs and toast to old Irish toast and legends. and that night the Leprechauns put green things in our shoes.
it is a lot of fun and the funny thing is we are not even Irish!!

Disney Princess On Ice

My Grandma took all of the girls in the family to
Disney Princess on Ice.
it was so much fun!
she bought everyone a tiara to wear.
Sophie saw about 10 minutes of it and slept through the rest.
we almost missed the end when a not so small lady stood up right in front of us.
luckily she moved just in time for the fireworks.

Pearl Harbor
Pearl Harbor was so amazing. it took a lot for me not to cry.
I was so humbled and overwhelmed to be there and to learn again, the sacrifices that were made and the lives that were lost.

I will never forget the fun times that we had:
getting lost every where we went, driving aimlessly around north shore never quite reaching our destination, "The Package" on Waikiki, crab hunting, snorkeling in Hanauma bay, the pineapple express, the flea market, pearl harbor, the helicopter ride, and all of the other fun things we did!! it was a trip of a lifetime and we hope we can do it again soon!!
